Chief Electrical Engineer

In overview the role will encompass directing all electrical engineering input for the design of large scale oil and gas facilities. You will be working closely with all other engineering disciplines and will have the communication skills to work at all levels in the organisation and its customer base. Furthermore you will have the vision and motivational skills to develop and progress your engineering team to ensure the long term excellence of your department.
In detail the responsibilities include -

Preparation of proposals.

Ensuring corporate procedures, standards, specifications and processes comply with SHE policy.

Approve key technical documents.
Assist in the definition of technical audit requirements for project work.

Liaise with Group companies on the development of common working methods.

Assist with definition of requirements and implementation of CADD/CAD working methods.

Forecast and monitor manpower requirements and training needs.

Prepare annual budget for Group capital equipment expenditure.

Keep abreast of latest technology, applicable national and international standards and vendors equipment availability.

Anticipated salary will be in the region of £65,000 together with an impressive array of benefits (including Pension, Health Care and Life Insurance).
