Social Worker- Looked After Children

Degree or Diploma in Social Work or other GSCC-recognised social work qualification is essential, as is experience working with children and families in a statutory setting. Experience working with children looked after is desirable, although there is the opportunity for this experience to be gained. The role involves working with looked after children, developing and implementing care plans for them, preparing material for court and working with other teams such as adoption and fostering and children in need. This permanent post offers competitive rates of pay and the potential for flexible working hours.
