Social Care Placement Officer- South London

Previous experience working in health and social care in the community is essential, as is a working knowledge of the Mental Health Act and the NHS and Community Care Act. Experience working within a placement team is desirable, but there is the opportunity for this to be gained. The role involves assessing and screening placement providers, assessing clients and matching to placement providers and offering support and advice to providers. Other duties will include promoting the placement scheme with external agencies, assisting with advertising and multi-disciplinary work. This post with a South London social services team offers competitive rates of pay and the opportunity for flexible hours.
