The Roll

The successful candidate will provide hands on Production Engineering skills to support a range of machining, welding, painting and assembly processes.
The roll involves maintaining and supporting existing manufacturing methods and developing new processes to improve operational efficiency, also suppoting new product introdution, and engineering change.
The Candidate

Reading of engineering drawings and the ability to determine appropriate methodologies for the manufacture of parts across a range of turning and machining centres is a given.
You will have proven CNC programming software skills (Path Trace, Edge Cam, Fapt Turn), and familiarity with controllers such as Fanuk, Gildermeister, Okuma, Haas, Mazatrol would be ideal, as would experience of DNC linking.
The candidate will play an active part in the purchase of new machinery/ Technology.
Preferably have a higher tech or HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
