Job Title
Sales Engineer (Account Management)

The Roll

To achieve the sales targets set at the start of the sales year.
To achieve the sales from a customer base issued at the start of the sales year.
To take responsibility for all customer requirements including, equipment selection, pricing, pre sales support, linking with FQS department for commissioning - trouble shooting - warranty issues - spare parts etc, all account queries, marketing actions.
To continue to increase knowledge of my clients products to enable the engineer to maximise the opportunity of sales.
To communicate via the company calendar (lotus notes) and report on activities of the engineer’s customer base at any time (as required by the Area Manager or Director).
To attend and actively take part in sales meetings as required.
To attend and actively take part in training courses as from time to time provided by the company.
To represent the company in a professional manor at all times.
To work with and in conjunction with the corporate philosophy.
Responsibility to communicate and help solve disputes and account queries.
The Candidate

Excellent communication skills [face to face and over the telephone].
Team player is essential.
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of team.
Proven sales skills.
Ability to prioritise own workload.
Flexible and confident individual who will be able to work in a rapidly changing environment (growth market).
Computer literate – Microsoft products.
There is a fundamental need for the job holder to travel within the United Kingdom for the fulfilment of this role therefore a valid UK driving licence is an essential requirement.
Successful candidate will work from home.
Previous experience of working within a technical sales role would be advantageous as the role will require the successful candidate to develop a sound technical understanding of my clients products. A familiarity of the air conditioning industry would also be advantageous.
