Qualified Social Worker- Adoption and Fostering

Degree or Diploma in Social Work, or other GSCC recognised social work qualification is essential, as experience carrying out social work in a fast-paced statutory setting. Previous experience working in adoption and fostering is a benefit, although there is the opportunity for this experience to be gained. Duties will include making families and friends assessments (form F’s,) writing court reports, assessing and managing placements, attending fostering panels and making private fostering assessments.
