Flexible Salary - £25,000 to £35,000

The role is a Technical Analyst for a Combined Heat and Power design team providing site evaluation and system design drawings for CHP (Combined Heat and Power) and DH (District Heating) schemes between 250kW and 10MW across the UK. Ideally you will be a Mechanical Engineer or an Electrical Engineer.
You will take a key role in the design team, working alongside other technical analysts and design engineers, tasked with delivering outline and detailed design specifications, often resulting in the formation of Energy Services Companies.
The department is a new, rapidly growing department within a very large energy provider. The company has enough critical mass to offer a highly flexible approach to the design, build, own and operate practice which means it is seen as a very attractive company to work with. They are winning many contracts in all facets of the CHP market.
The ideal type of individual is experienced in technical design, modelling and specification expertises in Zero and Low Carbon technologies especially CHP. You will have had exposure to live projects and be able to demonstrate design experience.
The role:
The technical analyst is tasked with sizing CHP plants and using benchmark data to size electrical and thermal consumption plus demand modelling.

What you need to be able to demonstrate:
- Experience in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Design
- Technical design, modelling and specifications expertise in CHP & DH
- Experienced in the use of energy modelling software including
- Engineering Degree (Mechanical or Electrical & Electronic)
