Crucial to the current and future success is the management of the project resulting in this new role which manages the commercial aspects including the supply chain and project risk as well as being the key link with the contractors, the consortium and the train manufacturers.
The Project Director will have gained significant project expertise, ideally form within a contractor business, and have the diplomatic skills to manage a diverse range of client requirements along with the issues raised by such a high profile public project.
