Qualified Social Worker- LAC (South Manchester)

A social worker with a record of effective work with children and young people is wanted for a children and families team in South Manchester. Degree or Diploma in Social Work or other GSCC-recognised qualification is essential, as is previous experience carrying out children and families social work. Previous experience working with Looked After Children is a benefit, although there is the opportunity for this experience to be gained. This role will involve making assessments and creating care plans in line with LAC procedures. Other duties will include report writing and multi-agency work and may include pre-birth assessments.
