Service Co-ordinator - Building Services - Cambridgeshire
Red River's client, a successful multi-disciplinary building services company, is currently seeking a Service Co-ordinator to be based atv their offices near Cambridge. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the main purpose of this role will be to undertake the efficient allocation and management of mobile engineering labour resources for planned maintenance and reactive tasks.
Main Duties:
* Allocation of breakdowns to appropriate Service Engineers, following set guidelines or in liaison with the Contracts Engineers.
* Allocation of planned maintenance work to appropriate Service Engineers following set guidelines or in liaison with the Contracts Engineers.
* Generally allocate work to meet required response times to ensure contract Key Performances Indicators (KPI's) are met.
* Management of work schedules to ensure that all Service Engineers are gainfully employed throughout each day and to minimise non productive time.
* Ensure clients are kept informed regarding Service Engineer estimated arrival times (ETA's) with the assistance of the Service Engineers and Contract Administrators as required.
* Liaise directly with the Service Engineers, Clients and if necessary Contracts Engineers regarding the status of the work.
* Ensure all work is progressed through to completion and notify Contract Engineers of operational/technical difficulties.
* Ensure the computerised Engineers Diary is kept updated regarding job status and history.
* Provide system reports regarding new and outstanding works and attend weekly planning meetings with the Contracts Engineers.
* Co-ordination of work by liaising with the Buyer regarding the availability and delivery of replacement parts.
* Notify Service Engineers when they are 'on-call'
* Immediate notification of any accidents or Health & Safety issues to the Operations Manager.
* Associated filing duties as required.
* Undertake any other duties as requested from time to time that fall within the scope of the position.
* Work safely in accordance with the company's current health and safety policy and procedures.
Qualifications, skills & experience required:
* Strong communication skills with clients and colleagues at all levels, both written and, in particular, oral.
* The ability to use the following packages: Vixen (or similar service maintenance software), Microsoft Outlook,Word & Excel.
* The ability to work under pressure and to set deadlines.
* A good organiser with the ability to think ahead, plan and prioritise one's own workload.
* The ability to work as a part of a team,
* Attention to detail.
* The ability to build good working relationships with clients, service engineers and colleagues.
* The ability to handle difficult people/situations in a professional manner.
* The ability to multi-task.
* A willingness to be flexible in order to meet the demands of the job.
* A proactive approach to problem solving.
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience + benefits package
