Substance Misuse Project Worker

Previous experience working within a substance misuse service is essential. Any experience working with prescribed substitutes and chaotic drug users would be beneficial. Statutory experience would be a benefit. Car driver would be a benefit.

The applicant will be required to work as a member of a multi disciplinary team, working towards the reduction of drug related harm within the community. Duties will include making assessments on clients dependent on drugs or alcohol, designing care plans and key working clients with the aim of harm minimisation, detoxification and relapse prevention. This post would offer the successful candidate the opportunity to gain experience within a prescribing service.
