The Roll

To gain and maintain knowledge of products and their application

To gain and maintain knowledge of the commercial environment and the standards and regulations relevant to the role.

To gain and maintain knowledge of competitors products, personnel and structure.

To regularly visit your customer base on an agreed frequency and attend any customer events that are organised.

To provide reports as requested including, but not limited, daily whereabouts, product forecasting, quotation follow, etc and monthly reporting in connection with the designated area or responsibility.

To liaise with other members of the Development team and other company departments to ensure that the customer requirements are met in terms of quality, accuracy and timescale in line with customer expectation.

To work with both Customers Services teams and Credit Control to regularly monitor overdue and disputes.

The Candidate

A good grading at GCSE level in core subjects: Maths and English.

Previous experience of working within a technical sales role would be advantageous as the role will require the successful candidate to develop a sound technical understanding of
products.

A familiarity of the air conditioning industry would also be advantageous.

Excellent communication skills [face to face and over the telephone].

Team player is essential.

Ability to work on own initiative and as part of team.

Proven sales skills.

Ability to prioritise own workload.

Flexible and confident individual who will be able to work in a rapidly changing environment (growth market).

Computer literate - Microsoft products.

Travel

There is a fundamental need for the job holder to travel within the United Kingdom for the fulfilment of this role therefore a valid UK driving licence is an essential requirement.

Salary

Up to £31,000 + Benefits

Location:

Successful candidate will work from home.

Manchester will be the reporting office.
