Marketing Executive - East Sussex

Red River's client, a leading manufacturer and global supplier of scientific/analytical instruments, is urgently seeking an experienced Marketing Executive to play a proactive role in all aspects of marketing communications for the EMEA region.

Location:

This position will be based EITHER at the company's offices in rural East Sussex OR in the Netherlands. We are keen to hear from applicants interested in working in either of these locations.

Responsibilities:

* To effectively implement EMEA regional Marketing Communications plan and contribute to the development of the Global Communications Plan annually - including the sales engine.
* Manage regional budget to Plan and contribute to Global budgeting process annually.
* To manage and evaluate all Marketing Communications activities in a rolling calendar. Including: advertising, exhibitions, direct mail, product launches
* Develop and maintain customer database for campaigns.
* Generate monthly report inc: lead/enquiries monitoring for all activities.
* Work with manager to generate agreed no. of press releases annually with Global agency.
* Proactive management of the EMEA demonstration vehicle including the promotion, evaluation, booking, route planning, general upkeep and documentation.
* Ensure all activities are generated using the Corporate Identity Guidelines and that branding is integrated gobally.
* Update internal 247 databases to ensure sharing of information: images, marketing collateral generated.
* Manage the professional presentation of any regional EMEA conferences.
* Project work as agreed with manager.

Qualifications, skills & experience:

Essential:

* CIM qualification or equivalent
* Degree qualified (or equivalent)
* Proven experience in a MarComs role.
* Proven copy-writing skills.
* Agency management and demonstrable brief writing skills.
* Understanding of PR process and value to business.
* Ability to proactively manage key marketing communications activities including: exhibitions, direct mail, advertising, demonstration vehicle, sales flyers.
* Ability to contribute to the construction of the sales engine each Plan Year
* Ability to contribute to building a global Marcoms Plan each year.
* Good team player and confident in dealing with people at all levels.
* Proven experience in budget management.
* Fluent English language skills

Desirable:
* European language skills.
* Ability to use Adobe design packages - photoshop, illustrator, indesign

Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 + excellent benefits package
