Senior Social Worker- Adoption/Fostering

Degree or Diploma in Social Work, or other GSCC-recognised social work qualification is essential, as is previous experience working with children and their families in a statutory setting. Experience working with foster carers and adopters is a benefit, although there is the opportunity for this experience to be gained. The main objective of this role is to provide direct support for foster carers and their families and duties will include managing a caseload of vulnerable clients, carrying out assessments and creating and implementing careplans that meet the needs of the looked after child.
