Indirect Buyer

This is a key role and needs someone who can make an impact and lead change. The role is focused on maintaining a competitive and highly efficient Supplier database
Responsibility for the effective planning and scheduling of all products including raw materials, sub assemblies and finished goods.
* Contract Management Implement a competitive supplier selection process to attract present and future business
* Engage in new purchasing improvements projects.
* Plan component manufacture from assembly to finished product on a wide range of small, medium and large batch orders.
* Support the utilisation and development of ERP systems.
* Manage life cycle of parts incl. safety stocks, EOL.
* Review and develop demand management data.
* Partake in Sales & Operations Planning process. Prepare balanced capacity plan at the family group which can be met in a timely and cost effective manner by suppliers or production.
* Resolve demand and supply constraints over planning horizon.
* Scheduling for both in house and external supply chains.
* Prepare KPI reports primary KPI's.
* Management of team.

Skills experience required:
ERP Systems development (implementation) skills
Change Management skills
Team management skills
Materials and FG top level scheduling
Comfortable working at all levels incl. Board
Supply Chain vision....
Experience in the hydraulics industry would be an advantage but is not essential.
