Marketing Manager
My client operates a number of consumer finance portals and provides products and services to financial services providers, comparison websites and intermediaries. The purpose of the job is to manage the consistency of the brand values, portal content and communications of both the B2B and the B2C sides of the business. The main focus of the job is to formulate and implement marketing plans that raise consumer brand awareness, attract new customers as well as strengthening relationships with existing customers. The role will report to the Head of Digital and oversee three direct reports. Responsibilities include: Develop in depth customer insight and carry out market sector analysis to identify emerging opportunities; oversee B2B and B2C campaign activity across channels and mediums; craft and manage online and offline marketing campaigns; help guide the PR function, ensuring consistency of message across all channel communications; work closely with the portal team to develop and deliver online promotions; work in close partnership with the sales teams to develop and implement acquisition and retention campaigns; manage development projects involving cross functional teams and individuals at all levels in the company. Requirements include: Extensive experience in a B2B marketing environment, preferably within financial services or a related industry; proven project management skills; experience of campaign management; experience in consumer marketing; online and offline product management experience; positive attitude; strong verbal and written communication skills; strong commercial acumen; preferably CIM qualified.
