Substance Misuse Practitioner

Experience managing a caseload of substance misuse clients is essential. Experience advocating prescriptions of substitute medication (methadone, subutex, naltrexone) would be a benefit. A professional qualification (RMN, RGN) would be a benefit. Car driver would be a benefit.

A Sussex Service requires an experienced substance misuse practitioner to manage a caseload of drug (primarily opiate) and alcohol clients. The role will involve making assessments, designing care plans and key working clients in accordance with care plans. There may be some group work involved and although previous group work experience would be a benefit the post would offer the experience to gain this experience. This position may be offered on a permanent basis to the right candidate.
