2nd Chef

A local restaurant/Hotel based rurally near Thame are looking for a 2nd chef to join their kitchen team. The successful candidate will be required to assist the head chef on a daily basis. You will be required to prepare and cook freshly made high quality a la carte food using local produce, create and present daily specials and assist in the running of the kitchen on a daily basis. The suitable candidate will posses good communication skills, work well under pressure, possess past experience and a passion for food aswell as a flexible approach to work. Food hygiene certificates and experience of working within a kitchen environment are a must. This is a great opportunity for a candidate that is keen to use their past experience while gaining new skills and knowledge from a talented head chef. The successful candidate will work on a shift basis within a rota, including breakfast, lunch and dinner service 7 days a week (2 days off per week). Salary 15k + dependant on experience. Accommodation available if required.
