Corporate Quality Manager

A leading International Construction Contracting Group renowned for major engineering and construction projects worldwide with a focus to Middle East. The Group has a significant list of clients to which it maintains, with over 40 years of experience and more than 10,000 employees, an excellent record in completing major civil, marine, industrial and electromechanical projects, to the satisfaction of its clients.

We seek to recruit and appoint a permanent full time Corporate Quality Manager and Quality Engineers.

Corporate Quality Manager - UAE
Ref: 3732

Based in the United Arab Emirates the area of responsibility will be throughout the Group. The position entails assisting regional offices and project management teams to implement the Quality section of the integrated management system throughout the Group's operations and to contribute to its development.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Implementation, development and improvement of the Group's integrated Management System in coordination with the Corporate HSE Manager.
• Preparation, issue and amendment of documents in the management system.
• Heading the Group's Quality Management Team and regional quality personnel.
• Performing or arranging through the regional Quality Managers/Engineers, internal audits of the management system and maintain records of the audits.
• Monitor the performance of the management system and reporting to corporate management in coordination with the Corporate HSE Manager.
• Defining quality targets for projects and offices.
• Organizing the recruitment, periodic evaluation and training of all personnel in the Quality Department.
• Liaise with independent accredited certification bodies and organize activities for maintaining company’s ISO certification in coordination with the Corporate HSE Manager.

The prospective candidate should have:
• B.S. / M.S. degree in Civil or E/M Engineering from internationally recognized University, (or equivalent).
• Specialization in Quality Management in the form of Post Graduate studies, and / or specialization seminars.
• At least 10 years experience in Quality Management positions in the Construction industry.
• At least 2 years experience in top Quality Management position in reputable large organization.
• Experience in ISO 9000 / 2000, 14001, 18001 Certification procedures for large organizations.
• Fluency of English both spoken and written.
• Excellent leadership, communication and presentation skills in multinational environment.

We also require Quality Engineers (Ref: 3732b)
• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• 15+ years experience in QA/QC of heavy civil engineering and marine works.
