TEST & REPAIR ENGINEER - Electronics

Leading network infrastructure engineers require a Test and Repair Engineer experienced in board level test/diagnostics to join the Test & Repair team within their Production Department.

Prime responsibilities will include the use of computer aided and ATE test equipment to functionally test & repair a range of telecommunications systems and assemblies. This will entail working to defined test specifications and fault diagnosis of analogue/digital circuits to assembly/component level.

You will have an HNC in Electronic Engineering with a minimum of two years experience in a test/repair and board test environment. Knowledge of ATE would be an advantage, as would familiarity with telecommunications products and associated test equipment. The ability to work methodically and systematically when under pressure is essential, as are good communication skills, both written and verbal. The successful candidate will be joining a small existing team of engineers so the ability to interact and work well within a team environment is important. The level of supervision over this role is minimal so you should also be able to work confidently using your own initiative.
