Qualified Social Worker- Child Protection

Degree in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or other GSCC recognised social work qualification is essential. Previous experience carrying out social work in a children and families setting, including court experience, and experience working with Child Protection and Looked After Children, is also essential. Duties involve making care plans, carrying a caseload of vulnerable clients and safeguarding. This statutory post is with the Safeguarding and Care Planning department of a South East London borough’s child and family social work team and offers competitive remuneration and the potential for ongoing work.
