PROJECT MANAGER - TELECOMMUNICATIONS

Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and control all programme activities, critical milestones and initiate actions where necessary.
• Liaison with internal customers, BU's and Corporate Departments (EBU, CBU, NBU & Corp)
• Analyze internal customer requirements and generate end-to-end programmes.
• Setup and generation of programme WBS's within SAP, in conjunction with Finance.
• Execute programmes within budget and to committed timelines.
• Compile and submit weekly programme reports to PMO Head and Executive Management.
• Facilitate, monitor and manage cross functional activities and processes.
• Setting up and minuting of all cross functional and one-on-one meetings.
• Facilitate Programme closure and analysis of Programme results.
• Monitoring, analysis and feedback of all business processes.
Requirements, Experience and Attributes
The ideal candidate for this post should have the following:
Qualifications and skills:
• B.Sc. Electrical / Electronic Eng. , B. Tech HND or 3 year tertiary education
• Project Management Qualification (Diploma)
• Membership of Programme Management organization an advantage
Experience:
• 5+ years project management experience within the telecommunications field
• Experience of telecommunications products is a clear advantage
• PC and networking experience with SAP, MS Office and MS Projects required
• Able to identify and analyze a program schedule critical path
• Proven Programme Management experience an advantage
• Proven International Programme Management experience will also be an advantage
