Assistant Team Manager- Children and Families (LAC)

Degree in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or other GSCC recognised social work qualification is essential. Significant experience in statutory social work in a children and families setting, including child care, child protection, looked after children and court work, is also essential. The successful applicant will also have experience of supervising frontline social workers. Duties will include carrying a small caseload of complex cases, overseeing a team of social workers and ensuring compliance with statutory guidelines. This statutory post is with the looked after children department of a West London borough’s social work team and offers competitive remuneration and the opportunity for long term work.
