Senior Social Worker- 1 year contract

Degree in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or equivalent GSCC-recognised social work qualification is essential. Experience carrying out child and family social work in a statutory setting is also essential. Experience working at a senior social worker grade is a benefit, but this is an opportunity for such experience to be gained. This post involves carrying out assessments in a children and family social work setting, developing care plans, leading child protection investigations and managing social workers. This long-term post is with the child and family social work team of a South London borough which promotes career progression and offers competitive rates of pay.
