Qualified Social Worker- Children and Families (R&A)

Degree in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or other GSCC recognised social work qualification is essential. Previous experience carrying out children and family social work in a statutory setting is also essential. Experience of court work is desirable, although there is the opportunity to gain this experience. Duties include making assessments, writing reports for other agencies and for the courts, and working with service users. The post is with the children and families social services department of an East London borough which offers competitive remuneration and the potential for permanent work.
