Database Administrator MS SQL Server

Global org based in Vienn Austria, Multi cultural English speaking. •
5 years of experience, with at least 3 years as senior/lead MS SQL DBA with major responsibilities in a large database environment
• Hands on experience of implementing SQL Server 2005 in clustered environment
• Experience working with multiple instances of SQL Server in a team environment
• Experience implementing SQL Server replications with remote (overseas) locations
• Experience in MS SQL Database Upgrade from MS SQL 2000 to MS SQL 2005
• Solid understanding of MS SQL Server standards and best practices
• Experience in implementing enterprise wide backup/recovery solution for MS SQL Server 2005 environment
• Willingness to work in a 7x24 environment, and expected to handle a mix of database management and engineering responsibilities
• Capable of developing technical documentation and presentation
• Capable of supporting and implementing technology projects as the primary DBA
• Be able to work effectively in a team environment
• Microsoft Certifications and Training (MCDBA) experience is required
• Fluency in spoken and written English is a must
