Probation Service Officer, London

Our client requires a PSO to support offenders who are serving custodial and community based sentences (low risk offenders). Experience working within the Criminal Justice system and carrying a caseload is of offending clients is essential.
The applicant will be required to oversee and co-ordinate rehabilitation programmes for offenders in custody and after release from prison. Further to this the successful applicant will be responsible for providing pre-sentence court and bail information reports, dealing with referrals stemming from substance misuse, health or work issues. The applicant may also be required to oversee community work programmes for offenders and deliver sessions based on a CBT model to alter offending behaviour.
