Dual Diagnosis Practitioner

Previous experience in dual diagnosis a benefit. However applicants with experience of working with clients with mental health issues and a practical knowledge of substance misuse issues will be considered. Experience managing a caseload of clients also a benefit.

The role involves assessing the client’s condition and risk to the community, designing care plans and monitoring medication. The successful applicant will be required to respond to the needs of their clients, who will have a range of mental health and substance misuse issues. Liaising with GP’s and various organisations will also be key to this role. This role has the potential to become permanent.
