Drugs worker

Experience assessing substance misuse clients is essential. Experience designing care plans is essential. Experience key working or giving harm minimisation advise would be a benefit. Volunteer care planning experience maybe considered.

A local service is looking for a drug and alcohol practitioner to work within a local drop in assessing clients who refer themselves into the service. The role will then involve designing an initial care plan and referring clients into the appropriate service. The role will involve giving basic harm minimisation to injecting drug users.
