LUC-AQS - Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Our Client, have established themselves as one of the leading residential refurbishment specialists in and around South West London. Our client is currently looking to recruit a Assistant Quantity Surveyor to start ASAP. The project is a High class top end refurbishment with a twist of new build.

The ideal candidate would have a Quantity Surveying background with the following as a basic guideline:
Gcse's: English, Maths
Min exp: 2-3 years with the same background or 5 years in commercial background. Preferred industry qualifications but not critical. They must be able to work under pressure, have a passion for building, and be a UK Permanent Resident.

Main Duties Include: Assisting the Contracts manager survey each job including but not limited to cost analysis, tender analysis, cost forecasting, administration, tender enquiries, variation costing, valuations, subcontract procurement.

Working Conditions: 45 hours set guideline to include as required dependant on targets made, travelling will be solely from office to site.

Salary & Benefits: Salary is Negotiable, guideline £18-25k. An employers non contributary pension scheme is available. Paid travel once at work place to sites. No car as based in one office. Holiday 20 days plus bank holidays.

Prospects: Scope to include taking this position into a formal Surveyors role and then with the possibility to manage others with less experience.
