Sales Executive
Summary of Position
The successful candidate will have experience in consultative selling and developing custom solutions for firm clients. This position is responsible for selling of all Astadia solutions and services to prospects and clients in assigned markets. Individuals will be responsible for developing leads, qualifying supplied leads, selling of company services, preparing proposal material, and negotiating terms. In addition, demonstration of technical solutions is expected.
The position is also responsible for on-going client relationship management, up/cross-selling, and the successful closure of sales opportunities. This sales executive will be expected to jointly sell with partners and internal resources and contribute individually to complete selling tasks and efforts.
Essential Job Requirements

- ability to scope prospect opportunities then analyse and develop solutions
- ability to deliver detailed statements of work
- ability to sell multiple concurrent opportunities across all Astadia practices
- ability to manage prospect/client relationships and expectations
- ability to keep records of opportunities and activities in Astadia’ supplied customer relationship management package (salesforce.com).
Required Skills & Knowledge -
- Demonstrated experience as a sales executive with excellent organisation and time management skills
- Demonstrated business development, selling and relationship management skills
- Demonstrated leadership, team building and management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including advanced client-facing and presentation skills including the ability to influence and negotiate with clients
- Solid problem solving and decision making skills coupled with strong analytical thought processes
- Thorough understanding of SFA & CRM market, key industry players, and trends in the marketplace
- Ability to thrive in a small project team environment
Required Education
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, or Technology or other related field; related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Masters degree is desirable but not required.
Required Experience
- 7+ years of relevant sales experience & consulting experience
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to drive a car
- Must be able to travel for up to 40% of the time
- Must be able to work on a computer for at least three hours per day
