Assertive outreach worker

Experience conducting outreach work to substance misuse clients is essential. Specific experience with cocaine clients would be a benefit.



A local drug and alcohol team is looking for an assertive outreach worker to improve service involvement from clients with drug and alcohol addiction issues. The role will involve working in the local community engaging with the target client group, assessing their needs and bringing them into the service with a view to designing a care plan to include referrals to other treatment programs. There will be the opportunity to participate in the development of the teams crack service. Flexible hours are available around core hours. This role is likely to go from temp to perm.
