Senior Condition Monitoring Engineer
A global Oil & Gas Inspection firm with over 31,000 people working across 160 countries require experienced and ambitious professionals for established contracts covering offshore North Sea and overseas activity.
Your role will be to conduct routine Condition Monitoring data collection and analysis. Trouble shooting vibration problems. In-situ balancing of rotating equipment. Condition Monitoring database configuration. Machinery acceptance testing. Condition Monitoring / Condition Based Maintenance training course preparation and presentation. Condition Monitoring strategy development. Based in Aberdeen office to respond to existing and future condition monitoring clients both offshore and onshore. You will have experience and skills in Machinery Vibration Analysis knowledge and experience (min 3 years). Computer literate together with Condition Monitoring package knowledge. Written and verbal communication skills. Engineering qualification (HNC min). Main duties, responsibilities and authorities: Data collection, analysis, and reporting. Form good working relationships with clients. Technical input to quotations / tenders. Training of clients in Condition Monitoring Techniques. Attend client meetings to deliver effective technical and commercial solutions to clients. Successful management of client condition monitoring programs. Identification and development of opportunities to expand scope of services. Development of close relationships with client representatives. As the primary client contact to work under own initiative and to seek clarifications where necessary from Team Leader or Management Team. Work closely with Team Leader and support his technical and financial goals for the team. Display excellent personal time management. Management of delegated projects under the supervision of Team Leader / project manager. Deliver consistent technical solution to client and identify potential for improvement as required by Team Leader. Supervise and support assistant & consulting grade engineers’ technical delivery to client, providing training where necessary. Aiding other engineers / departments with their contracts / projects. Pursue potential new clients and actively seek new business.
