Substance Misuse Practitioner

Experience managing a case load of substance misuse clients is essential. Experience in prescribing substitutes to Class A drug users is essential. A Professional qualification a benefit.

A local service is looking for a drugs worker to key work and manage a case load of clients as well as advocating prescriptions and titrating clients. The role will also involve designing care plans for both detox and substitute maintenance, providing advice on harm minimisation and liaising with local GP’s. Opportunity for flexible hours.
