Addictions Counsellor

A Counselling qualification is essential. Experience counseling clients with addictive behaviour is essential. Professional accreditation is a benefit. Experience with the 12 step model would be a benefit.


A European service is looking for qualified counselor to take on a case load of clients with addictive behaviour (Substance misuse, gambling, computer gaming, sex etc.) in a tier 4 equivalent residential service. The role will involve assessing their needs and designing a care plan to address this through group work and one to one key work. The service is looking for both temporary and permanent staff and offer benefits such as three months paid accommodation as well as monthly flights home and a competitive salary.
