Office Administrator/Manager


An opportunity as an organised, self motivated office administrator within a tourism based business with a friendly office atmosphere.

The role involves a wide range of office management functions that would suit an organised and capable individual with strong interpersonal skills. We offer flexible hours!

As the office manager you organise and supervise all of the administrative activities that facilitate the smooth running of the office.

Remuneration
£ 24,000.00 per annum (including tax)
20 days paid holiday


Booking & Administration Duties
• Process daily bookings from resellers.
• Take telephone enquiries & bookings
• Liaise with clients wanting amended trips of Mile High Flyer trips.
• Liaise with piers for bookings
• Collate quotes for both amended trips and Mile High Flyer trips
• Manage a bookings assistant during the peak season (if one is required)

Accounting Duties
• controlling the office budget;
• At the beginning of each month process invoices to send to resellers
• Input all invoices receipts into spreadsheet/SAGE
• Phone resellers on a regular basis for overdue payments
• Reconcile the petty cash and sales tin on a monthly basis
• Fuel Duty returns

Payroll Duties
• Keeping personnel records
• Input staff hours/trips into wages spreadsheet
• Check and double check all wages correspond with other staff
• Process wages ready to be send to Accountant

IT
• Dealing with computer issues, networking, broadband etc

Other Miscellaneous Duties
• Liaising with members of the senior management
• Dealing with complex queries and complaints on the telephone, by email and in person;
• supervising the implementation of new office systems;
• Reviewing and updating health and safety policies (also part of the Maintenance Mangers position)
• Ordering stationery
• Dealing with post and emails

What do I need for this position?
• Advanced computer skills in Excel and Word
• Intermediate use of Outlook
• Intermediate accounting knowledge. Knowledge in SAGE a bonus but not compulsory
• Superior interpersonal and telephone skills
