Technical Manager
The main purpose of your job is to ensure products meet customers expectations through total quality management, you will be responsible for testing incoming raw materials to ensure that meet company agreed standards and comply with food safety regulations.
You must have a BSc in Food Science, Level 20 Qualification.
You will be dealing with external auditors, customer interface, specifications, system development, product development and staff / management.
You will report to site manager and be responisble for technical team, HACCP Team, 2x QA / QC Technicians.
The scope of the job is 10% dealing with auditors/trading standards/EHO, 10% approval of suppliers, 20% customer interface, 15% microbiology / shelf life, 10% training & development, 15% controlling quality management, 15% authorising final product specification and 5% NPD / HACCP / PACK.
