Sales Manager - Bathroom Accessories

Established for over 74 years, our client has an outstanding track record for the design and manufacture of high quality bathroom fittings and accessories. To date sales have been split between retailer branded products on behalf of several high street home furnishing multiples and branded products to the hotel construction and refurbishment sectors. Focused on significant growth, the company has created a new role for a Sales Manager to lead them into new markets and new distribution channels.

Reporting to the Managing Director you will be given a blank sheet of paper to research and develop a business plan that will achieve the sought profitable growth. Immediate opportunities exist with home furnishing and even grocery multiple retailers (eg. B&Q, Tesco, Asda etc..) but equally independent retailers and wholesalers of bathroom fittings provide exciting prospects. Initially you will be focused on new business development activity but once settled into your new role you will take responsibility for all sales and the recruitment of a new national sales team. There are no boundaries or ceilings to this role.

Candidates should have a proven track record of new sales development with any bathroom accessory products. These could include sanitary ware, bath or shower fittings, bathroom accessories, tiles or shower cubicles.
Of key importance is your energy, enthusiasm, dynamism and love of new business development and driving sales growth. We are looking for a strong relationship builder with an entrepreneurial flair.
