Channel Marketing Manager, EMEA

A $1.6 billion global corporation, our client is a market leading manufacturer of cabling, wiring and connectivity products for a variety of industries including professional broadcast, telecommunications, industrial automation and building services. Armed with a very ambitious plan to become a strongly branded, total solutions provider and significantly increase sales and profitability worldwide, the company is investing heavily to double its sales and marketing team, through the recruitment of high calibre individuals from any industry. Three new roles have been created for Channel Account Managers.

Reporting to the Marketing Channel Manager, EMEA the main objective for this role will be to:

- Drive distributor performance in line with the organisation’s high growth expectations.

- Assist distributors to develop and execute marketing plans to maximise territory presence, promote the company’s and distributor’s products and deliver opportunities.

- Work with the company’s direct sales force and distributors’ sales teams to maximise territory coverage, achieved through knowledge sharing, opportunity planning and solutions selling.

- To be the key interface and source of information for distributors.

- Identify and fulfil the training and development needs of distributors.

Candidates will have a business oriented degree and ideally a minimum of 5 years experience in Sales, Marketing and Account Management. You should have a good understanding of using marketing practice to enhance sales, implement and administer programmes to demanding objectives. You should be self-driven, results oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality and business profit.
