Salary: £35,000 to £40,000

Location: Derbyshire

MAIN ACTIVITIES

Directly manage Injection Process engineer and Injection Technicians.
Develop the injection processes and systems ensuring a framework that will achieve world class standards of quality and service to the Customer and achieve environmental compliance.
Ensure standardised work practices on Injection process FMEA.
Establish effective communication channels.
Manage continuous improvements and productivity covering all process areas – SMED, cycle times, scrap, downtime machine /tools and energy.
Ensure the technical integrity of Mattec database and support introduction plans to Injection processes
Respect all aspects of Health & Safety and conform to the Environmental Policy at all times.
Design and justify improvements to reduce downtime and increase productivity


SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES

Continuous improvement through development of Injection Tech team and setters to deliver best in class.
Involvement with setter recruitment and assessment of technical abilities
Maintain Health and Safety standards.

QUALIFICATION / SKILLS

Sound knowledge of process controls for injection moulding.
Able to demonstrate leadership qualities and effective communication skills.
Experience and knowledge of problem solving techniques.
Ability to work under pressure and be results orientated.
Knowledge of best practice within industry.
