Older Persons Advocacy Worker

Experience advocating on behalf of older people is essential. Experience giving generic advice on benefits for older people is essential. Experience with the knowledge management software would be a benefit. Any statutory experience is a benefit but is not essential



The local council is looking for an older persons advocacy worker to help work on its new older persons helpline. The role will involve answering calls from members of the public giving advice on how to access benefits as well as using the knowledge management software to find appropriate services and agencies to deal with any requests that they may have. Opportunity for part time or full time
