Project Engineer - Pipeline Installations : SRCSA/01-07

Our client in Malaysia is known for its technologically sophisticated both deepwater and shallow water engineering. Our client is looking for qualified candidates whose experiences are within (not limited) to as follows:

• Development and delivery of fully checked installation Engineering documents and other deliverables relating to defined responsibilities

• Delivery within work scope of construction and installation engineering input to design, fabrication testing and handling of special pipeline features e.g. Anodes, Field Joint Coatings, Tees, Valves, PLETs & Pig Launchers/Receivers.
• Engineering and technical delivery of the assigned Project Scope in accordance with the requirement of the customer, the The company Management System and the Design and Construction Engineering (DCE) suite of documents.

• Ensuring that their engineering workscope has undergone review inline with the Project Internal document/checking process

o Ensuring that specifications and scopes of work within their workscope have been reviewed and agreed by the project tea that all quality issues are captured in the various vendor's and the project's Quality Control Plan.

• Actively support an participate in Project HSE & HIRA processes


Qualifications, Experiences & Skills:

• B. Eng equivalent (or higher)
• Essential – 3+ years Design/Installation/Subsea construction
• Specific knowledge of pipeline installation procedures, techniques and equipment including startup, routine pipelay, lay of valves and tees and cut to length / laydown.
• Some knowledge and experience of S-Lay, J-Lay and DP pipelay
• Some knowledge of special pipeline features e.g. Tees, Valves, PLET’s & Pig Launchers/Receivers
• Proficient in English with good and oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure with little direct supervision or guidance an still meet project deadlines
• Ability and willingness to work at sites and locations other than the main company office, including offshore
