QA - QC Coordinator

QA - QC Coordinator (Engineer), Contract, Market Rates, Stavanger

Our client provides multi-discipline engineering services in Norway and internationally. The company has frame agreements with large operators and contractors operating within the oil and gas business.

Our client has a requirement for a QA-QC Coordinator to be involved in the Valhall Redevelopment Project. You will based in Stavanger on a contract basis until September 2010. You should have a good experience within the oil and gas industry as well as previous experience in similar QA-QC roles. Working knowledge of Norwegian rules and regulations and NORSOK specifications application to fabrication would be desirable.

You will be responsible for carrying out and coordinating various Quality Assurance and Quality Control verification activities with particular focus on support to Brownfield, Subsea and PFS, and jacket delivery lines. You will assist the Project Quality Manager with implementation, monitoring and support of project quality management.

You will also be involved in reviewing and commenting on contractor quality plans, inspection and test plans, performing audits, reviews and fabrication inspections and assisting the Quality Manager in monitoring and troubleshooting use of project procedures and project quality management activities.
