Our client provides multi-discipline engineering services in Norway and internationally. The company has frame agreements with large operators and contractors operating within the oil and gas business.

Our client has a requirement for an Electrical Discipline Lead Engineer to be subcontractor to their client who is a major operator in the oil and gas industry. This would be on a contact basis until February 2008 and would be based in Stavanger, Norway.

You should have previous experience in a similar role at this level and will be required to coordinator all activities inside the electrical discipline, review vendor documents/reports, participate in meetings/design review with the project and perform capacity checks for existing electrical systems.

You will also be involved in identifying requirements for modifications/extensions in the study and ensure that the end clients standards and specifications are followed and the correct technical authorities are involved.
