Nurse Manager

The candidate is required to have experience working with substance misuse clients. Either a Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered General Nurse qualification would be a benefit. The successful applicant will be a Manager in a Community Drug & Alcohol Team. The candidate will be providing a specialist service to culturally diverse clients who have a range of needs arising from the use of illegal substances. The applicant will also be responsible for supervising and liaising with other multidisciplinary clinicians to implement, develop and deliver the service to clients and teams. Further to this the applicant will also be responsible for the clinical management of substance misuse work carried out by the nursing team. The post holder is also involved in the provision of clinical supervision to nurses and other multi-disciplinary staff involved in the delivery of group interventions.
