Our client provides multi-discipline engineering services in Norway and internationally. The company has frame agreements with large operators and contractors operating within the oil and gas business.

Our client has a requirement from a major operator for an Integration Engineer. This role is based in Tananger, Norway and will be on a contract basis until 2009. You should have previous experience preferably within process engineering but other engineering experience may also be relevant. You should also have experience on front end engineering and/or project engineering and be degree qualified or equivalent.

You will be responsible for conducting and coordinating internal and external development studies providing management with elements on which to base decisions, conducting technical evaluations to enhance the value of the development study and providing technical assistance in developing and coordinating the engineering studies.

You will also be involved in promoting new technologies and cost reductions, and improving working methodologies and tools and you will be constantly informed of all activities within the development study and interface with other disciplines and functions to ensure integrated solutions.
