Integrated Criminal Justice Mental Health Team Manager
An Honours degree or other relevant professional qualification is essential. Additionally a minimum of 2 years post graduate experience working with adults and 6 months mental health experience is necessary. Six Months management experience in an MDT is essential and a further 1 year working with secure mental health services or with mentally disordered offenders is benefit. A knowledge of all relevant legislation is also necessary, inclusive of the Mental Health Act 1983.
The successful candidate, working with the NHS will provide clinical management responsibility, in addition to providing effective and safe services which support the key elements of clinical governance. The post holder will also ensure that improvements in planning, implementation and evaluation of care are based on user involvement and feedback from consumer networks and individuals and partner agencies in the criminal justice field.
