Treatment Assessor for Substance Misuse Client , London

Experience within the drugs and substance misuse filed is essential, either as a DIP worker or project worker. One years Experience working with chaotic clients and class A adult users is essential. Experience of designing and developing care plans, conducting assessments and a knowledge of harm minimisation is also necessary. Experience in filling out DIR forms and working with in a DIP or Criminal Justice team is benefit.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing substance misuse clients who are quite chaotic. The candidate will also be working alongside criminal justice services as part of a team. The clients will come through probation and will look where they are to be directed to. There will be a case load of between 20 and 25 clients. There will be referral and assessment work and the case duration will differ.
