Senior Petrophysicists (HH446015)
With large datasets, and complex geological and geophysical scenarios you will plan, supervise, co-ordinate and control the collection of petrophysical data for integration into comprehensive full field models, for reservoir engineering development. You will work with diverse teams to develop these studies, giving you the opportunity to experience interdisciplinary reservoir study teams. Exciting opportunities exist for both mid-level and senior Petrophysicists, with extensive experience of petrophysical studies, and a thorough understanding of open-hole (wireline and LWD) cased hole and production logging tools, within carbonate plays. Minimum academic requirement is a BSc in an appropriate Geoscience subject with a solid understanding of Schlumberger’s and other petrophysical, geological, and geophysical applications. Advanced degree desirable.
Senior Process Engineers (HH446052)
This important role will support Management in meeting general business objectives. Responsibilities will include the review and evaluation of technological study work and processes for Offshore Gas/Oil handling, pipeline and other works, and to support the business case for future Joint Venture and Development Production Sharing Agreements. Scrutinise the technology content of the business proposals for novelty in design that might jeopardize the reliability of the commercial installation. Promote and maintain close coordination and liaison with other functional groups both in and outside the Oil & Gas Directorate. Assist prospective partners in obtaining the necessary data and information to begin preliminary scoping and feasibility studies. Minimum academic requirement is a BSc in Chemical Engineering, with strong mechanical engineering content. Chartered Engineer desirable. Extensive experience in petrochemical, oil and gas and refining plants with exposure to plant operation and design practices. Familiarity with Hysim and Pipephase required, Questor experience desirable.
