Our clients are a Quantity Surveying firm. They are a medium sized company employing 150 people.

While they do cover all sectors they are most profitable in Social Housing, Education, Commercial and Healthcare – where they pride themselves on whole-life project management. It would naturally therefore be advantageous for candidates to come from any of these four industries.

The right candidate will be chartered for 4/5 years and would have as much experience in as many industries as possible. However relevant experience in Social Housing, Education, Commercial or Healthcare would be good.

They are looking for a ‘dynamic’ Senior Quantity Surveyor to drive the business forward. His/her career path, if suited, will quickly mean promotion to Associate Director.

Likely candidates are going to have risen through the ranks in their existing roles quickly having worked, ideally, on small (£100k) and large projects(£100m) and have naturally excelled. Experience with full life cycle of the project would be a benefit as our client does full life cycle (planning to completion) but more often they work on varying parts of projects (so full knowledge would be a benefit).

The right candidate will be managing a team and reporting into one of the Directors. The team will be formed where possible from existing employees and likely to be from 2-10 people depending on the size of the project.
